“For me being a warrior entrepreneur, it means integrating my cultural values into my business model. It means not just making a product, selling a product and profiting off a product. It means that there is value put into that product. There is love and happiness sewn into the product that we’re creating.”
In this lesson, Casey talks about entrepreneurship through an Indigenous lens and how your identity shapes how you do business.
Casey’s Tips for Warrior Entrepreneurship
Collaborate. Partner up with small businesses and other entrepreneurs out there.
Be sustainable. That looks like only using what you need, ethically sourcing your products, and knowing where your products come from.
Give back. Help your community to make it a better place, build community wherever you go and offer your knowledge and skills back to the community.
