SJ is of mixed Cree and European ancestry and currently lives in Toronto. Her work is focuses on cellular animations that enable us to learn about our bodies, and our connection to the world around us. During this episode we talk about her work as a medical illustrator including the importance of Indigenous representation in the biomedical imaging field. SJ also shares tips for young creatives who are interested in learning digital skills.
