Josh is Anishinaabe from Wikwemikong Unceded Territory. He was born in Sudbury, Ontario. He is an educator, musician and community helper. He has worked with several Indigenous organizations & school boards in the past. He currently works with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board as an Indigenous Student Support Coordinator.
During this episode Josh shares about his journey as an Indigenous educator and singer/songwriter. Josh shares about the many amazing initiatives currently happening at A7G including language revitalization, tea and chats, and community building. Josh shares about how he takes care of his mental health amidst a global pandemic. He also shares tips for Indigenous youth who are just starting their creative process.
