Vicky auf der Mauer

Vicky auf der Mauer is a proud Inuk woman, raised in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Her biggest passion is sharing her experience, skills, teachings, and wisdom to Indigenous people. The focus of her work is building a meaningful life, creating personal empowerment, and a money-making business through entrepreneurship that rests on your creativity and passions. She is now an Urban Inuk living in downtown Toronto with her 11 year old Jack Russell Chuihuahua, Lola.

The topic I would love to share with Indigenous (and particularly Inuit : ) youth is blending our creativity, personal strength, spirituality, and passions, with making money through entrepreneurship. I saw another one of your Create To Learn @ Home content creators created a program on starting a business and a brand, but my work speaks to more of the WHY behind it, and how our WHY sustains us to keep going with our creativity, art, and passions in order to support us financially. I can speak to this because I do this. My personal empowerment and reaching my goal towards financial freedom comes from my creativity, which for me is writing and speaking. My intention is to show that if I, a 'little Native kid from the Arctic' can build a life I love, anyone can.
