Hello,My name is Niquita Thomas, I am a 21 year old Lower Cayuga women from Six Nations of the Grand River, I was born and raised in Ottawa! I am currently studying indigenous community service work so I can use indigenous teachings and knowledge to help with healing tactics in the social service world. I enjoy beading, painting, wood burning and all sorts of types of craftwork, and being outdoors! I am currently in a Indigenous youth policy school working on a capstone project to develop a policy wanting to focus on MMIW And how it’s effects indigenous peoples and all the aspects that contribute towards the issue.
